  The John E. Vistic Experience (winnaar van de Independent Awards in 2005) wordt wel beschreven als een confrontatie tussen Nick Cave en de Stones gedurende hun amfetamine-country tijdperk. Met John E. Vistic als frontman creeert de band een geluidswal van huilende gitaren, schreeuwende violen en stampende drums. Eschatologische songs over dood, lefde en PVC boten is hun voedsel en zaligmakende rock 'n' roll is hun spel
Het eerste studio album 'Lightin' Out For The Territories' werd in maart 2005 uitgebracht door Black Heart Studios UK en Borders Books USA. Daarnaast is een ongelooflijk aantal tracks te beluisteren via onafhankelijke radio-stations.
John E. Vistic werkte ook samen aan tracks met General-Midi ('Rattle ya Cage' op het nieuwe General Midi album - 'Midi-Style'), Way Out West, Jean Jacques Smoothie en verzorgde vocals op het binnenkort uitkomende album van de Australische DJ Nick Thayer.
